AccessibilityPDF — Martin Schrammel AB

AccessibilityPDF facts

What the service does, who is responsible and how the work is checked.

The service

AccessibilityPDF is a service that makes PDF documents accessible for businesses and organisations. The work can include document tags, heading structure, reading order, tables and alternative text. Reports, guides, policies and training materials are examples of documents that can be assessed.

AI, code and human responsibility

AI helps assess and process documents. Software checks the technical structure and that content and appearance are preserved. Martin Schrammel is responsible for the work, review and customer contact. A human approves the delivery.

Check report and limitations

The check report sets out the checks performed and any remaining limitations. Automated checks are a basis for review, not an automatic accessibility certification or a guarantee that all requirements are met. Language and content assessments may need to be made by someone who knows the document’s language.

Price and documents

The document is assessed before a fixed quote is given. The customer receives a representative sample and a check report before payment. Each uploaded PDF can contain up to 50 pages and be up to 25 MB. Scanned documents and interactive forms are outside the service scope. Translation, rewriting and visual redesign need a separate agreement.

Languages and file handling

The website is available in 26 languages. The document’s language and content are assessed separately from the language chosen for the website. The privacy notice, data processing agreement and subprocessor list describe how documents and personal data are handled.
