AccessibilityPDF — Martin Schrammel AB

Prepare your PDF for accessibility work

A few checks before upload help preserve the content and avoid repeated work.

Use the final version

Upload the version you intend to publish. Changes to the source create a new PDF, which may need to be assessed and adapted again.

Keep content as text

Use real text, lists and tables in Word, PowerPoint, InDesign or your authoring tool. Avoid turning text and tables into images. Export with document tags and active links when supported.

Check the document

Check the wording, figures and page order. Confirm that you have permission to share the document for processing. Each uploaded PDF can contain up to 50 pages and be up to 25 MB.

Tell us about special requirements

Mention required standards, complex diagrams, form fields, unusual languages or a fixed deadline. Translation, rewriting and changes to the visual design need a separate agreement.
